LEMON RICE

INGREDIENTS

1.Basmati rice-250gm
2.Turmeric powder-half teaspoon
3.Pori kadala-2 tablespoon
4.Urad dal-2 tablespoon
5.Kadala parippu-2 tablespoon
6.Ginger-small piece
7.Lemon-2
8.Green chilly-4
9.Oil-half cup
10.Curry leaves,salt-as required

METHOD

1.Soak basmati rice in water for some time and strain off excess water.Cook basmati rice by adding little water and salt.
2.Strain off excess water.
3.Put in a pan oil and saute ginger, green chilly,curry leaves and also add pori kadala,turmeric powder, urad dal ,kadala parippu and saute well.
4.Add cooked rice to this mix and and also add lime juice and mix well.
