INGREDIENTS
1.Basmati rice-2 cup
2.Oil-3 tablespoon
3.Jeerakam-2 teaspoon
4.Cinnamon,cardamom,cloves-2
5.Jadhipathiri-1
6.Thakholam-2
7.Water-4 cup
8.Salt-as required
9.Coriander leaves-for decoration
METHOD
1. Soak rice for 1 hour and strain off excess water
2.Put in a pan oil and add jeerakam to it.Add ingredients from 3-6 to it and saute well
3.When jeera becomes brown colour and masalas become sauted well add rice to it and mix well for 5 minutes and stir continuously
4.Add water and enough salt to it and cook well for 30 minutes
5.Strain well excess water from it
6.Add coriander leaves and decorate well and serve
