Sambar

INGREDIENTS
1.Tomato-3
2.Onion-2
3.Carrot-2
4.Potato-2-3
5.Green chilly-3
6.Ladies finger-3
7.Curry leaves,salt-as required
8.Drumstick-3
9.Drumstick leaves-few
10.Pumpkin-little
11.Brinjal-little
12.Snake guard-half
13.Toor dal-1 cup
14.Shallots-8
15.Mustard seeds-few
16.Asafoetida powder-half teaspoon
17.Sambhar powder-2 tablespoon

METHOD

1.Clean and c ook toor dal .
2.Add all vegetables to the cooked dal and cook for 1 whistle in a pressure cooker.
3.Put in a pan oil and add mustard seeds,curry leaves and shallots.
4.When it becomes golden brown add sambhar powder and asafoetida powder and mix well and add cooked vegetables to it and serve hot.
5.Sambar powder contents are coriander seeds,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds,red chillies,black pepper ,chana dal, urad dal,turmeric powder
