GHEE RICE

INGREDIENTS

1.Basmati rice-2 cup
2.Chopped onion-one and a half cup
3.Ghee-half cup
4.Cardamom,cloves,cinnamon-4
5.Hot water-4 cup
6.Oil-as required

METHOD

1.Clean and soak basmati rice in water for half an hour and strain off excess water
2.Put in a pan oil and add ghee and when it melts saute onion
3.Make a powder of cinnamon,cardamom,cloves
4.When onion becomes brown colour add powdered cinnamon,cloves and cardamom and saute well and add basmathi rice to it and mix well
5.Add hot water and salt and salt and mix well and close the lid and cook well for 30 minutes and strain off excess water
