KAPPA VEVICHATHU

INGREDIENTS

1.Tapioca-2 kg
2.Shallots-7
3.Green chilly-2
4.Curry leaves,salt-as required
5.Oil-2 teaspoon
6.Turmeric powder-half teaspoon
7.Grated coconut-half piece
8.Mustard seeds-half teaspoon
9.Red chilly-5

METHOD

1.Remove the skin of tapioca and clean and cut them into small pieces
2.Boil well in 2 cup water and strain well water
3. Put in a pan oil and add coconut and fry well till it becomes slight brown colour
4.Add tapioca and close the liod and cook well
5.Make a fine paste with shallots,green chilly, curry leaves, salt and turmeric powder
6.Add this paste to the tapioca and close the lid for 5 minutes and cook
7.Put in a pan oil and add mustard seeds and when it starts to splutter add shallots, red chilly and curry leaves and saute well and add to tapioca and mix well and serve with fish curry
